Holy Moly ! ! ! The brutha still burns . Epic ! !
Indeed he does!!
I remember first time listening to Far beyond the sun and just knew yngwie was going to be known!!!!
He's a legend for a good reason :)
Ever had the string get caught in between your teeth😂. Loved it Yngwei and we love you brother! God Bless you sir
He's amazing ;)
Is his picking hand even moving while playing? Cripes, mine looks like I’m chopping wood.
That's the key. Economy of motion. I've got a series of lessons on my page that focus on this.
Such a good player playing such horrible music.
to each his own
I love his music ;)
awesome, thanks
You bet!
Imagine the sheer volume of money this guy has wasted on top 3 shirt buttons over the years.
Saves it for Rolex watches :)
Then the Gelderland song morphs into Stars and Stripes Forever?
Sure why not?
you guys are to hear his interview on "A Mediocre Time With Tom And Dan"💯💯 💯 best podcast ever
everyone focuses on the string, guitar , and pick... ....the true power zone os is the action of the stings (height above the neck and frets) ...that is the true nature of shredding....💯 especially when you're hitting them pitch harmonics....mixed the palm mutes....🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸💥💥💥💥💯💯🤘🤘 Yngwie for life...
Well said!
always luv them dark forest green tortex picks. they surprisingly can spring action almost every gage of string into utter madness!!! 💯
Sharp/thick picks rule :)
He’s always amazing but for some reason my favorite era will always be the Alcatrazz live stuff 84 ish
Agreed! He is an amazing player but his early work is his best imho.
Back in the 80’s everyone had those high output Super Strats (Jackson, Charvel, Kramer, BC Rich, Hamer, etc.). Everyone thought a regular Strat was old fashioned and you couldn’t shred on it. Then Yngwie came out. I was so surprised he never even considered using any of those other guitars. I’ve seen him use the odd Gibson Flying V, never a Super Strat. Apparently every guitar maker was offering him sponsorship deals but he turned them down. Eventually Fender made his own signature guitar but he originally bought his own guitars. Usually vintage ones from the 60’s and 70’s. He preferred the “Big Head” ones from the late 60’s to early 70’s.
Yup. He's old school :)
I have that same one but I can’t tell if the switches come off or not
They do :) It came with a little tool just for it.
Can it be like a digitech whammy pedal? i like dimebag darrell
I think so!
Yes correct.. 100% when u saw some person good at speed or shred then when comes for vibrato and it sucks. It break all of point
Agreed!!! Without good vibrato, you are not a good guitar player.
It will be long time before AI can reproduce the vibrato of Guitar Hero.
Agreed :)
What if you have a pedal
Works great with pedals :) Just put it before the first one.
Why does he not use or get this tone live? Maybe I'm missing something?
Studio tone is always better
Brother, that was totally EFFORTLESS.
True skill is effortless :)
Kirk Hammett, are you listening?
I hope he is!!
Are the capsules interchangeable?
I don't think so
What’s the battery life?
About 8 hours! Great battery on these.
For a great plectrum that won’t let you down, I’ve always used the purple stubbies or the mandolin tear drop and I love them. It feels weird going back to conventional shapes now.
Gotta use what works :)
Increible como siempre Jhon Norum. BesoS
Indeed.
Kirk Hammett : ???
Umm... No.
So where do you connect it at on a mixer box?
You can use it as a wireless pair of in ear monitors, so in that case, you plug it into the monitor out for the board. or you can use it to send signal to a speaker 100 feet away, in that case, you plug the transmitter into the boards right or left out (you'd need two units to feed two speakers) and then the receiver goes on the powered speaker itself.
this scene made me happy
Same :)
The True Master of the Stratocaster 🎸
He truly is!!! Also, he is spot on about the picks.
Totally mate. I use the Dunlop Flow 4.20mm myself.
Are you using this for a bad situation? How does it sound how's the reception?
I'm just reviewing gear that I use :) The reception on these is great.
How do these sound with vocals is it worth it Compared to modern plugins
It's a vintage piece of gear so it does sound vintage. It doesn't sound like a modern plugin to be sure. All of the ART stuff sounds very much of it's day, which is sorta the point of using them. I love old rack gear from the 80s/90s. But if that sounds is not what you are looking for, then no.
Nice! Gotta love a new gear day!
You got that right!
What a😮
Warrior Nun indeed :)
including amperor one???
The Ampero ONE and Ampero both use the same DSP. So yeah :)
i covered far beyond the sun in high school with an improvised solo because the power of yngwie was too great back then, it's still on my old channel with my freshman youth taunting me so. I also use 2 and 3mm dunlop big stubbies, best pick ever made next to the 1.5mm Jazz III
Love the JAZZ III :) It's pointy and stiff!! That is the perfect recipe.
not rgt42
Sorry bud, it certainly is a RGT42. You don't know anything about Ibanez guitars clearly. Ive owned 6 of them.
What makes a good vibrato, theoretically? Not going by ear or instinct, how can you "measure" or explain a good vibrato?
It should not be tepid. It should not be hyper fast. it should vary in tempo from start to finish. Just listen to any John Norum solo.
If loving Ying-wee is wrong, I don't want to be right. The man just gets cooler and more down to earth as he ages.
well said :)
I was never really a fan of Lars Lannerback but there's no denying he has chops for days. He actually looks quite healthy here too and still has a full head of hair.
He's a legend, with a full head of hair :)
no one does it like y m effortless always the man.much love
Well said!!! "True skill is effortless"
Yngwie has incredible technical talent but reminds me of Salieri in Amadeus ... he hasn't created one single memorable or whistle-able melody ever. I actually like Yngwie in his later years and he still has amazing potential ... he just needs to walk, whistle some tunes in his head and then and only then pick up a guitar. ua-cam.com/video/QCnOx4lmnbg/v-deo.html
He's a legend.
Love this!,…I can hear every “Note!”,…nothing is hidden!,…like with a hummbucker!
He uses stacked humbuckers.Single coil sound with humbucking ability. I ve made a couple and they do sound awesome...
😀🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
His playing is a gift to the world.
Indeed :)
Ive always loved Yngwie's sound and approach to keeping neoclassical guitar alive. Yngwie doesn't just play fast he plays intelligent melodic phrases in his compositions. Yngwie never tried to copy anyone. He set out to find his own style of playing and thats exactly what he did!
Agreed! He reinvented the the steel!
This is very cool and thank you for posting it. You play well. I had a question: throughout the signal chain of the BBE and the Nitro, what type of patch cables did you use throughout the signal chain (with all of the ins and outs), TRS or TS, guitar cables or speaker cables? Thanks!
Just guitar patch cables like you would use on a pedal board. Nothing fancy :) Just using both sides of the bbe as it's a stereo unit. One side to the input of the sgx one side to the output.
I didn't get more data,I have privacy settings, how do I get my video analytics?
it works just like I showed in the video. If you don't see it I would contact tiktok support.
Sounds awesome 🤘
Super thanks! Tyr Songs are awesome and well constructed. Learning them is a master class.
Esse cara é fantástico.
Gracias!
The man himself breaking it down for ya. It's really this simple folks. Get a heavy pick.
